Wayne E. Robinson

Wayne E. Robinson, 73, longtime resident of Mason, NH, died April 1, 2011 at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA. He was born in Manchester, NH on July 13, 1937, a son of Gregory G. and Bertha (Booth) Robinson. Mr. Robinson graduated from Peterborough High School, Peterborough, NH. Following graduation from high school, he pitched for the New York Yankees Farm Team. He was the owner of Robinson Auctioneer and Appraisals for more than 40 years and specialized in furniture restoration. Over the course of his career, he hosted many benefit auctions for the surrounding communities. In addition, he had been a real estate agent. Mr. Robinson was active in the 4H Program and enjoyed judging Junior Handling dog competition. Family members include his wife of 52 years, Leona A. (Marino) Robinson of Mason, NH; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl A. and John Paron of Sunnyview, NC, Julia and Daniel Blais of Townsend, MA; two grandchildren, Jonathan Blais and Wayne Blais; and a great grandchild, Audra Blais. Memorial visiting hours are Thursday, April 7th from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 pm.
