Warren G. Jack, Sr.

Warren G. Jack. Sr. passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday morning March 3, 2015. He was born in Cambridge, MA on October 24, 1937, a son of Earl Jack, Sr. and Jessie (Rodway) Jack Matthews. Warren served in the United States Army on the domestic front during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Lawrence, MA Elks Lodge #65, a self-taught cook and excelled in the kitchen at home, another of his passions. During the NASCAR racing season on any race day, he could be found riveted to the TV. He was also an avid movie buff with a special interest in classic horror movies of which he said, “They don’t make good horror movies these days, these oldies are the only ones worth watching”. Warren was a very devoted family man and lived for his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were his greatest joy. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his son, Warren G. Jack, Jr. formerly of Cambridge, MA; sisters, Arlene Walshaw and Alice Lawson; and a brother, Harold Jack-Williams. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances (Gustowski) Jack of Milford, NH; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Robert Coombes of Manchester, NH, Theresa Farrell of Tampa, FL, Lorraine and Warren Kearn of Milford, NH, with whom he made his home; six grandchildren; two great grandsons; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Yvonne Jack of Prescott, AZ; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Cappola and her husband Dominic of Boston, MA; two stepsisters and their husbands, Jessie and Dennis Parris of Franklin, NH, Roberta and Mark Lavalle of Bow, NH; four stepbrothers and their wives, Walter and Kay Matthews of Maine, Robert and Dawn Matthews of Washington State, Richard and Cheryl Matthews of Billerica, MA, and Ronald Matthews of Fitchburg, MA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
