Vivian F. Britton

Vivian F. Britton, 87, resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died August 11, 2010 at The Courville Nursing Home, Nashua, NH. She was born in Jaffrey, NH on November 21, 1922, a daughter of the late George W. and Annie (Conahan) Potter. Mrs. Britton made her home in Mont Vernon for the past 10 years and formerly resided in Lakeland, FL for 14 years, Milford and Jaffrey for many years. She had been employed as a clerk for Kenmore Stamp Company, Milford. She was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting, knitting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her two great grandsons, Levi and Damian, who challenged her at slap jack. Mrs. Britton was predeceased by a son, John Britton, Jr.; a daughter, Vivian Britton; and a great grandson, Thomas Liam Philbrick. Family members include a daughter, Rosalie Philbrick of Mont Vernon, NH, a son, Robert Britton of Arizona; 13 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private.
