Virley K. Kaye, 91, resident of Milford, NH, died April 12, 2008 at her home.� She was born in Goffstown, NH on July 13, 1916, a daughter of the late John J. & Eva (Cochran) Kirby.� Mrs. Kaye was raised and educated in Milford.� She graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1935 and from Wilfred Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture, Boston, MA.� Prior to her retirement, she owned and operated a beauty salon in Nashua, NH for many years and was a member of the NH Cosmetology Society.� In addition, she was a member of the Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Kaye loved to read, do crossword puzzles and was an avid bingo player. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Kaye who died in 1989; a brother, Walter Kirby and a sister, Mary Signor.� Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Barbara Tortorelli of Milford, NH; a granddaughter, Susan Tortorelli of Manchester, NH; 4 Great Granddaughters; a brother, John J. Kirby, Jr. of Milford, NH; nieces and nephews.� There are no visiting hours.� A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 17th at 1:00 pm in Riverside Cemetery, Nashua Street, Milford.��In lieu of flowers,�donations in her memory may be made to the SHARE Program, P.O. Box 27, Milford, NH� 03055.�
