Vernon Atwood Jr.

Vernon, affectionately known as Vern by those that knew and loved him best passed away peacefully at the age of 69 at the Elm Center in Milford NH. Formerly of Pelham NH where he lived out most of his life enjoying doing what he wanted, which was hunting in the fall with his buddies and fishing in the spring and summer. Vern was a veteran of the US Army where he learned the trade of being a pressman to operate printing presses. Vern spent the most of his life working for CPS Direct formerly of Woburn MA. The printing industry was mostly undermined with the advent of the common photo copier. Following CPS Direct Vern worked for the City of Lowell MA. Vern was a crass and sarcastic soul, which could easily be misunderstood by those that didn't know him best. For those that did know him, we appreciated his sarcasm and life's lessons of what to do and what not to do. Predeceased by his son Michael, brother John and sisters Donna and Paula. Vern is survived by his son Gregory Atwood of Milford and wife Amanda. Grandchildren Braydon Atwood and Lilly Atwood of Milford NH. Daughter in law Natalie Aristova and granddaughters Alisa Frawley and Sophia Atwood of Nahant MA. Vern’s life, personality, and sarcastic sass will be cherished by those who knew him best.
