On Saturday, August 28, 2021, Thomas “Tom” Vallier, loving husband, brother, father to one daughter, and grandfather, passed away at age 71. Tom was born on June 1, 1950 in Brattleboro, Vermont, to parents Verne and Helen. He was raised and educated in Milford, and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1968. One June 25, 1994, he married the love of his life, Marcia. For the past 15 years, he had enjoyed working at Currier Lumber, where he made many friends. Tom lived his life to the fullest, always working on various projects in the shop he built by hand, the home he shared with Marcia, and the landscape they enjoyed viewing from the enclosed deck/porch he recently made. He was an avid auto enthusiast who enjoyed attending car shows and had a passion for driving and tinkering with his classic 1992 Pontiac, “Snow White”. He belonged to the 5am Breakfast Club at Café on the Oval. A tremendous friend and neighbor, he was always quick to offer help to someone in need. Tom was a hard worker and talented craftsman, and he always had a passion for life, family and learning (or trying) new things. Tom will be missed by many, who are better for having known him, and he will be remembered for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Tom was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, Ben. He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia, his sister, Kathy, and several cousins. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery, 460 Nashua Street, in Milford, NH at 3:00pm.
