Theresa M. Stamas

Theresa M. Stamas, 73, resident of Milford, NH, died January 25, 2009 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born in Wiltshire, England on June 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Ralph & Florence (Combey) Rogers. Mrs. Stamas resided in Milford for the past 15 years and formerly lived in Nashua, NH for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and games of chance. Mrs. Stamas was predeceased by her husband, Peter Stamas who died in 2001 and a son, Peter Stamas, Jr., who died in 1970. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Family members include four daughters, Katherine Boissonnault of Milford, NH, Patricia Stamas of Manchester, NH, Theresa Everett and her husband, John of Auburn, NH, Andrea Stamas of Salisbury, MA; a son, Harry Stamas of Milford, NH; four grandchildren, David Boissonnault, Jr. and his wife, Linda, Jamie Boissonnault, Jim Everett and Sara Everett; a great grandson, Sam Boissonnault; a great granddaughter, Allie Boissonnault and her third great grandchild due in March; a brother, Robert Rogers and many nieces and nephews from England; and a special family member, Kristine Koob. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph Hospital, Oncology Department or 4th Floor Palliative Care Unit, c/o St. Joseph Hospital Resource Development, 172 Kinsley Street, P.O.
