Terry Nostrand

Terry Nostrand, age 74, a long-time Milford resident, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2022, after a courageous two-year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Mr. Nostrand was born on October 12, 1947 in Huntington, New York and was raised in Farmingdale, New York. He returned to New Hampshire in 1992 where he had attended Franklin Pierce College in the 1960s. In 1998 he moved to Milford with his now former wife Pam, and in 2002, they welcomed their son Kyle Joseph Nostrand (known as KJ by his dad.) Terry spent his young adult years serving as a volunteer firefighter with the Farmingdale Fire Department, and joining the Fitzwilliam Fire Department, also as a volunteer firefighter, in 1992. Mr. Nostrand leaves behind his beloved son Kyle whom he loved with all his heart. Together they spent many afternoons and evenings playing golf or watching Patriots football together. He was Kyle’s biggest fan at all the baseball, soccer, basketball and football games Kyle played in Milford. Their most cherished memories are the many camping trips they enjoyed together as a family. As per Terry’s request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Kyle and Pam will honor his wishes and scatter his ashes on his father’s gravesite on Long Island in the fall.
