Susan "Sue" H. Brighton

Susan "Sue" (Norwood) Brighton, 82, longtime resident of Amherst, NH passed away peacefully at her home on December 19th, 2022.

Sue was born on December 9th 1940, in Nashua, NH at Memorial Hospital, the daughter of the late Madaline (Oldfield) and Edgar Norwood. She grew up and lived half her life in Milford, NH later moving to Amherst.

Sue embraced the good times in life, enjoying the company of her family, friends, and her many animal family members. She will be remembered for her humbleness, her sense of humor, and her love of her family and friends.

Sue is predeceased by her eldest daughter, Lisa Wiggin; and survived by her husband Frank Brighton; daughter, Sarah (Wiggin) Banville of Newburyport, MA; her brother and sister-in-law, Karl and Louise (Marchildon) Norwood; her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy (Norwood) and Ronald Pomerleau, of Amherst, NH and her sister, Martha (Norwood) Armstrong, of Goffstown, NH; along with her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a small service at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH for her immediate family to honor and celebrate her life.
