Steven D. Bennett

Steven D. Bennett, age 59 passed away suddenly Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his home after a long battle with mental illness. Steve was born May 11, 1961 in Beverly, MA to the late George and Barbara (Fennell) Bennett. He was a graduate of Milford High School and attended Nashua Community College. He lived his entire life in Milford. Steve was employed by Desmarais Construction for many years and was a very talented fine finish carpenter. His reputation and love of wood working was clearly evident in the many unique pieces he created. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Carole (Cushing) Bennett; two daughters, Stephanie and Jessica; five grandchildren; a brother, James Bennett; a sister, Leslie Barr and other relatives. A service will be held at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street in Milford, NH on Thursday, Sept 3rd from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Those attending are asked to adhere to current guidelines by wearing a mask and observing social distancing.
