Stephen M. Coughlin

Stephen M. Coughlin, 62, lifelong resident of Milford, NH died on January 16, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Lowell, MA on April 13, 1962, a son of James E. Coughlin Sr. and Claudette (Vercontaire) Coughlin.

Stephen graduated from Milford Area Senior High School. Class of 1980. He was employed at Hitchiner Manufacturing Company, Milford and DiaCom, Amherst.

He enjoyed taking rides on his Harley Davidson with friends, snowmobiling, and boating. In addition, Stephen had a fondness for German Shepherds and rescued many of these dogs thru the years.

Stephen was a communicant of Saint Patrick Church in Milford.

He was pre-deceased by his father, James E. Coughlin, Sr., and a brother William J. Coughlin.

Family members include his mother Claudette Coughlin; a brother, James E. “Jay” Coughlin, Jr.; a sister, Lisa Coughlin all of Milford; three nephews, Shaun Coughlin of Milford, Kevin Coughlin of Merrimack, and Brian Coughlin and his wife Kathy of Ohio; and many cousins.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on May 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Saint Patrick Church, Milford, NH.  Burial will follow in the Saint Patrick Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
