Stephen F. Smith

Stephen F. Smith, 62, resident of Greenville, NH died on November 9, 2015 at his home. He was born in Hudson, MA on January 28, 1953, a son of Shirley F. and Phyllis E. (Mennella) Smith. He was raised and educated in Townsend, MA and graduated from North Middlesex Regional High School. Stephen was a talented musician and played the electric guitar in local bands over the years. Stephen was an avid reader and especially enjoyed art and history. Family members include his life partner of 20 years, Beverly J. Doherty of Greenville, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Deborah Smith of Townsend, MA; a sister Shirleen of Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats, Gertie and Bob. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Monadnock Humane Society, 101 W. Swanzey Road, Swanzey, NH 03446.
