Shelley M. Neelley

Shelley M. Neelley, 50, resident of Amherst, NH died on April 1, 2016 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH surrounded by her family. She was born in Chelsea, MA on May 22, 1965 a daughter of James F. & Dorothy G. (Waters) McClellan. Shelley had lived in Amherst for the past six years and formerly resided in Bradenton, FL for more than 20 years. While living in Florida, she had worked for Baker Electronics in Sarasota for many years. Shelley enjoyed scenic rides throughout New Hampshire and especially loved her trips to Nubble Lighthouse in Maine. She was active in the Boy Scouts Program with her son and always attended their sporting and band events. Her world revolved around her sons and she was a devoted wife and mother. Shelley attended the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church. Family members include her husband, James Neelley; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Blaine and Briana Cooke, and Dalton Cooke all of Amherst, NH; a sister, Sheryl McKinsey and a brother, Steven McClellan both of Nashua, NH; several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Friday, April 8th at 11:00am in the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack, NH. Burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
