Sheila R. Trott

Sheila R. Trott, 86, resident of Ashland, NH, died unexpectedly on August 28, 2017 at Speare Memorial Hospital, Plymouth, NH. She was born in Fryeburg, Maine on November 28, 1930, a daughter of Orman and Blanche (Kendall) Bennett. She made her home in Ashland for several years and formerly lived in Thornton, NH and Milford, NH for many years. Mrs. Trott had been self-employed as a beautician. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and making braided rugs. She was an avid reader, she loved baking for friends and family and she was an active member of the church she attended in the communities where she lived. She was a member of St. John of the Mountains, Ellsworth, NH. In addition, she was a member of Ellacoya Chapter #43 O.E.S. in Meredith, Past Worthy Matron in 1966 of Puritan Chapter #29, Milford, and a member of Baker Pemi Senior Citizens Club. Mrs. Trott was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Trott, Sr., who died in 1983; a great grandson, Bryan Piersol, Jr.; and a sister, Carmalita Higgins. Family members include three sons, Robert E. Trott, Jr. and his wife, Carol of Hillsboro, NH, Daniel B. Trott and his wife, Diane of Amherst, NH, Bradley E. Trott and his wife, Cecile of Thornton, NH; a daughter, Reta Bason and her husband, Butch of Lyndeborough, NH; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH.
