Sergey Raymond Clay will always be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help those around him. Unfortunately, this time the pain was too difficult, and Sergey died by his own hand on September 12, 2021 in Milford NH. He was a longtime resident of Amherst, NH, who was born in Rovenky City, Ukraine, on March 19, 1998. He was the son of Kevin and Aileen Clay of Amherst, NH. Sergey was a 2017 graduate of Souhegan High School, and most recently employed by Northeast Flooring and Services, Peterborough NH. He was a car enthusiast, regularly attending local car shows with his brother. From a young age Sergey had a fascination in aviation and could share details about any airplane that flew overhead. The value he placed on his family was evident to those who spent time with him, shining through his calm and quiet demeanor. In addition to his parents, family members include his siblings, Alec Bassos, Vovka Clay, Anya Schommer, Oksana Clay, Nick Clay, Tina Clay, Tanya Clay, and Alan Clay; three nephews and one niece A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 24th at 3:00pm in Meadowview Cemetery, Foundry Street, Amherst, NH, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at Gatherings at the Colonel Shepard House, 29 Mont Vernon Street, Milford, NH. All are welcomed. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation in Sergey’s memory to NAMI New Hampshire (www.naminh.org).
