Sarah P. Smith

Sarah P. Smith, 68, resident of Brookline, NH died Thursday, January 8th at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Littleton, NH on July 23, 1940, a daughter of the late Harold & Beulah (Page) Foster. Sarah was a graduate of Lisbon High School, Lisbon, NH, Bates College, Lewiston, ME and the University of Buffalo, School of Music, Amherst, NY Campus. She resided in Brookline for the past seven years and formerly lived in Tucson, AZ for 11 years and West Seneca, NY for 13 years, where she was active in high school music and Church Women United. While living in Tucson, she had worked in the publishing industry. Sarah was an accomplished musician and especially enjoyed playing the piano and cooking. She was a member of the Brookline Community Church, a member of the Women�s Club and participated in various church activities. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. Family members include her husband, Rev. Dr. David W. Smith of Brookline, NH; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Derek B. Smith of Brookline, NH, Matthew D. & Pam Smith of Darien Center, NY; two grandchildren, Tyler D. Smith and Noah F. Smith, both of Darien Center, NY; a brother, Sinclair Foster of Newark, DE; two nieces; an uncle, Herbert Page and his wife, Barbara of Carver, MA; and two cousins. There are no visiting hours. A celebration of her life will be held in early April in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Brookline Community Church, P.O.
