Sandra (Philbrick) Howard

Sandra (Philbrick) Howard went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2024, after suffering from a long illness. The daughter of the late Walter and Lovica (Wright) Philbrick, she was born on Sept. 9, 1944, in Milford and graduated from Milford High School in 1962. After working and living in Milford and the surrounding area for several years, she moved to Naples, Florida, in 1980, and remained there until 2008 serving as a certified nursing assistant during her years there. Sandi always felt that taking care of others when they were ill, or elderly was her calling. She was known for her patience, kindness, encouragement and was a special favorite of many. When she returned to Milford in 2008, it was because she wanted to be “home” before she went “HOME” to be with the Lord. A woman of strong faith, she ended each visit, phone call, or message with the wish to “Have a Blessed Day!”. In addition to her parents, Sandi was preceded in death by her brothers Walter (Jimmy) Philbrick, Ronald (Ronny) Philbrick; sisters Joyce Philbrick, Leona Philbrick Vallier and her nephew David Severns. She is survived by her sister-in-law Jeanie Philbrick, nephews James (Skip), Scott (Karen), and Steven Philbrick, Jaramiah Severns (Anna), Michael Severns (Nora), Ronald Philbrick Jr. (Jennifer); nieces Valorie Severns, Laurie Philbrick Withee (Chuck), and a very special niece, Sharon Tieger, who served as her caretaker when she became unable to care for herself.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Riverside Cemetery in Milford, N.H. at 10:00 AM. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Home, Health, and Hospice Care at 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, N.H. 03054.
