Sandra J. Cook

Sandra J. Cook, 65, resident of Bedford, NH, died January 18, 2010 at the Laurel Center in Bedford, NH. She was born in Chambersburg, PA on May 6, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert A. and Ethel (Thompson) Poper. Mrs. Cook resided in Bedford and Milford for several years and formerly lived in Swanzey, NH and Nashua, NH for many years. For over 20 years, she and her family enjoyed camping especially on Marginal Way in Maine. She had been employed at Specialty Coating Systems of Amherst and while living in Chambersburg, she had worked as a seamstress for Stanley Company. Mrs. Cook loved to bowl, play bingo, bocce ball, horseshoes, shuffle board and will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. Family members include her husband, Richard L. Cook of Milford, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Betsy & Don Bishop of Milford, NH; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chris & Jennifer Cook of Milford, NH, Ricky Cook of Nashua, NH; four grandchildren; a brother, Harry Poper of Carlisle, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial visiting hours are Thursday evening, January 21st from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
