Sandra A. Swanburg

Sandra A. Swanburg, 61, resident of Wilton, NH, died February 2, 2009 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Crestwood in Milford, NH. She was born in Nashua, NH on August 2, 1947, a daughter of Gertrude J. (LaPointe) Young of Wilton, NH and the late Martin C. Young, Jr. Sandra was raised and educated in Wilton, NH and graduated from Wilton High School, Class of 1965. She lived in Milford for many years. She had been employed for Hitchiner Manufacturing Company, Milford for more than 27 years. Sandra was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts and trips to the ocean. She loved animals and was especially fond of cats. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother, family members include her daughter, Jill A. Schoendorf of Starksboro, VT; a son, Scott J. Swanburg of Keene, NH; two grandchildren, Sam and Molly; two brothers, Donald A. Young of Brattleboro, VT and Martin L. Young of Gray, TN; a niece and a nephew. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064-8109.
