Ruth Harding, 88, of Milford, New Hampshire, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Ruth was born to the late Samuel and Pauline Norberg, August 9, 1925 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She graduated from St John’s High School, Cambridge, MA in 1943 and received a certificate from the School of Fashion Design, Boston MA. In 1976, she graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing from the Catherine Laboure School of Nursing. She married the late James F. Kelley in 1948. Following his death, she married the late Bernard Harding in 1989 and they lived happily together in Milford, NH. Ruth loved to explore the world through her painting and the relationships she nurtured with her family, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was an active member of St Patrick’s church in Milford and a participating member of their choir. Ruth is survived by three sisters: Betty Percuoco, Hudson, MA; Barbara (John) Bohan, Wilmington, MA; Alma O’Reilly, Osterville, MA; six children: Paula Kelley of Everett, WA; Susan Kelley-DiSanto of Wenham, MA; James (Judy Segal) Kelley of Concord, MA; Peter (Sylvia) Kelley of Fairbanks, AK; Janet (Franz) Kelley-Vail of Sanbornton, NH; Sean Kelley of Huntington, NY; three stepchildren, Gregg Harding of Ohio; Keith Harding of Oregon; Brian Harding of Milford, NH; 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at Ruth’s home, 16 Johnson Street, Milford, NH, on Friday, February 28, 2014, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service, officiated by Father Francis Santilli, will be held the following day at 10:00 AM in St Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford.
