Ruth F. Vaters

Ruth F. Vaters, 96, resident of Milford, died April 15, 2010 at Crestwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Milford. She was born in Chelsea, MA on December 6, 1913, a daughter of the late Harry L. and Ida S. (Marshall) Stromberg. Mrs. Vaters made her home with her daughter for the past 25 years having resided in Milford, NH, Palm Harbor, FL and Tewksbury, MA for many years. While living in Massachusetts, she had been employed by Diamond Crystal Salt Company, Wilmington, for more than 20 years. Mrs. Vaters took pleasure in crocheting, reading and in her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and bowling. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, George Vaters. Family members include her daughter, a son and several grandchildren. We would like to thank the entire staff of Unit One at Crestwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care they provided to her. There are no services.
