Rosemary F. Curtis, 85, resident of Amherst, NH died on December 21, 2020 at her home. She was born in Newark, NJ on October 30, 1935, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine (DeMaura) Palmucci. She was raised and educated in Newark, NJ and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and history. Rosemary taught in the Mont Vernon School District for 33 years. She was a former member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and was honored twice by Who’s Who Among American Teachers. Her passions were many but nothing surpassed her love and devotion to her children and grandchildren. Rosemary would travel near and far to care for them, be with them, watch their sporting events, plays, graduations…she never missed a milestone. In addition, Rosemary was an avid reader, loved family vacations at the beach and cooking authentic Italian favorites. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edmond C. Frisch and Richard Curtis. Rosemary is survived by her longtime love, Robert W. Carr of Milford, NH. Family members include three children, Suzanne Frisch of Amherst, NH, Renee Phillips and her husband, Gary of Sudbury, MA, Edmond Frisch and his wife, Connie of Danvers, MA; four grandchildren, Brittany Phillips and her fiancé Justin Reis, Michael Phillips, Nicole Scott and her husband Tom Scott and Joseph Frisch and his wife Kristin Frisch; one great granddaughter, Alanna Rose Scott; and a brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Judith Palmucci and many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to That Place You Know in Hollis NH.
