Rosemarie L. Monagle

Rosemarie L. Monagle, 73, resident of Amherst, NH, died on October 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 15, 1943 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Julio and Yolanda (Marmiani) Riggi. Rosemarie was raised and educated in East Boston, MA, and has made her home in Amherst, NH since 1978. Rosemarie owned and operated The Bagel Place & Deli in Amherst, NH for many years. She enjoyed taking care of people, talking with her customers and feeding everyone. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Rosemarie was predeceased by her son, Michael E. Fritz who died in 2002. Family members include her husband, Phillip Monagle of Amherst, NH; four children, John R. Fritz of Francestown, NH, Christine Roy of Merrimack, NH, Thomas King of Greenfield, NH and Steven King of CT; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Riggi of Merrimack, NH; several nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m. in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
