Rosemarie Houle

Rosemarie Houle, 81, a longtime resident of Wilton, NH, died at her home surrounded by her family in Milford, NH, on Friday, October 6, 2023, after a period of declining health.

She was born on July 25, 1942, in Peterborough, NH, the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Willette) Poisson.

Close friends and family knew her by “Pumpkin.” This was her childhood nickname. She was a loving, caring, and amazing mother. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed working and supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

She was known and admired as a woman of great humor, knowing when it would be full of laughter and happiness in her presence. She made life even more memorable to most, leaving lasting effects on life meant to be spent in joy and happiness.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two husbands and her daughter, Angel.

Survivors include her four children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother, and a sister.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH 03055. A private graveside service will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wilton, NH.
