Ronald C. Cordts, 85, a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at home on June 26, 2020, with his family at his side after a short battle with Parkinson’s and pneumonia. He was a resident of Wilton, NH and formerly made his home in Lyndeborough and Amherst, NH. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 12, 1935, a son of the late John H. and Mae Cordts. Ron was raised and educated in Mineola, NY and graduated from Mineola High School in 1953 and attended Farmingdale State College. Ron was an electrical engineer at Arma-Grumman Areospace Division and plant supervisor at Itek Graphics. After leaving Itek he worked as an independent contractor, building houses and home additions. He was a hard working family man. He loved his family very much including his pets, which he treated like part of the family. He was always working around the house and loved gardening. Ron was very involved in attending his kids and grandkids sporting events, He was an avid football, basketball and NASCAR fan. Ron was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Robin Cordts; and son-in-law, Donnie Baker. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Phyllis Cordts of Wilton; six children, Veronica Fischer and husband Jeff, Ronald L. Cordts, Deborah Baker, Jeffrey C. Cordts and his wife Deanna, Linda Calo and husband Scott, Laura Potter and husband Jeff; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Cordts and wife Dorothy; and two sisters, Karen Sarno and Cheryl Cordts. A celebration of his life will be held privately. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 72 East Concord Street, Room C3, Boston MA 02118. apdama@apdaparkinson.org
