Robert R. Albert

Robert “Bob” R. Albert, 68, died peacefully on July 2nd at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, MA after a period of declining health. He attended Milford Area Senior High and lived most of his life in Milford, NH before moving to Massachusetts in 2017. Bob was a dedicated welder/fabricator during his working years before retirement in 2013. His employment history includes East Coast Steel, Superior Steel, J.A.W.S., Bay State Welding, and H&M Metals. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends, always willing to lend a hand when asked for help. He liked to go canoeing, fishing (lake, river, and deep sea), hunting, and to participate in a good game of ping pong, darts, or cribbage. He was a master at cooking grilled chicken. Family reunions and weddings were a good time of dancing and singing along to rock and roll music. Also known as “Grampy”, he loved spending time with his grandkids, especially when being treated to McDonalds, fried seafood, or cake and ice cream. Robert was predeceased by his parents Henry and Pauline Albert, brother Charles Albert, and sister Anita Albert, all of Milford. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Linda Albert, of Sutton, MA. Family members include his daughter Lindsay Albert, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Keith Violette, brother and sister-in-law John and Diane Albert, brother Daniel Albert, brother and sister-in-law Denis and Theresa Albert, grandchildren Alexis, Zoey, Skylar, Emmet and Mason, and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be private at a later date.
