Robert N. Grugnale

Robert N. Grugnale, 72, resident of Amherst, NH, died on June 19, 2018 at the Elliott Hospital, Manchester, NH surrounded by his family. He was born in Milford, NH on April 21, 1946, a son of Aquiline T. and Jeanette F. (Martin) Grugnale. He was raised and educated in Milford, NH and made his home in Amherst for the past 41 years. Bob had been employed in the maintenance department at the Clark School and Wilkins School in Amherst for more than 27 years. He enjoyed watching baseball and basketball on television and was particularly fond of the Red Sox and Celtics. He liked playing cards and checkers, going fishing and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. In addition, he loved cutting and splitting wood and going out to eat. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1967. He was a member of the Harley Sanford Post # 4368, VFW, Milford. He was a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Family members include his wife, Rita (Berwick) Grugnale of Amherst, NH; two daughters, Holly Grugnale and Hope Grugnale; four grandchildren, Chantal Godin, Andersen Geffrard, Miah Grugnale and Yeshaya Gardner, all of Amherst. A service with military honors will be held on July 14th at 1:00 pm at 51 Boston Post Road, Amherst, NH. Please feel free to stop by and share some memories.
