Robert W. Grogan

Robert W. Grogan, 71, resident of Milford, NH, died at his home on August 15, 2024, after a period of declining health. He was surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born on July 7, 1953, in Portsmouth, NH, a son of the late Robert and Pauline (Watson) Grogan.

An avid outdoorsman, Robert loved wildlife, the woods, spending time with family and friends, and chasing sunsets and rainbows. He was the funniest, loudest, and often most outspoken one at any family gathering and always reminded us that life is supposed to be fun and exciting (but can be scary in the moment). Robert always knew how to light up a room or keep a conversation interesting. He was a firm believer that the key to happiness is to have a sense of humor and that there is never enough time in time. He will certainly be missed by all of us.

Survivors include his loving wife, Michelle Grogan of Milford, NH, his brother Thomas Grogan and wife Janice Grogan, his children, Matthew Grogan and his husband Michael Sawyer of NY, Justin Lincoln-Grogan of MA, Shana and Joshua Mango of NH, Erica and Ian Brandon of NH, along with four grandchildren, Ezra Brandon, Ryan, Alexis and Madison Mango, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. 

SERVICES: In accordance with his wishes following cremation, services will be held privately for his family.
