Robert "Bob" Riendeau

Robert “Bob” Riendeau, 81, longtime resident of Brookline, NH, died on January 22, 2022 at his home. He was born in East Hereford, Quebec, Canada on June 8, 1940, a son of Philip and Leonie (Beloin) Riendeau. He came to the United States in 1947 and was educated by the nuns in Colebrook, NH. Bob was a trucker until 1974, then built his own garage and ran a trucking business and a repair garage up until 2021. He enjoyed Nascar racing, old westerns, country music, going out to the garage, puffing his pipe, a Busch beer and redheads! Bob was predeceased by his former wife, Donna J. (Haynes) Riendeau, who died in 1988 and his sister in law, Beth Riendeau. Family members include four sons, Tony (Beth) Flynn of Lancaster, NH, Jeff (Debbie) Flynn of Denver, PA, Steve and (Lynne) Riendeau of Brookline, NH, and Gary Riendeau of Enfield, CT; a daughter, Jennifer Riendeau of Brookline, NH; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, Donald (Denise) Riendeau of Cumberland, RI, Raoul Riendeau, Jack (Sandra) Riendeau, Luc Riendeau, Guy (Celeste) Riendeau, all of Colebrook, NH; three sisters, Pauline (William) Weir, Yogi (Phil) Dauphinais, and Micheline (Tom) Brooks, all of Colebrook, NH; several nieces and nephews. Private burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline. A party will be held in the spring at Bob’s Garage and a get together in the North Country where most of his family lives.
