Robert A. Fornicola, Sr.

Robert A. Fornicola, Sr., 88, resident of Milford, NH died on January 9, 2021 in Rochester, NH. He was born in Monmouth, NJ on September 13, 1932, a son of Theodore and Mary (Ferruggiaro) Fornicola. He made his home in Milford since 1996 and formerly lived in Asbury Park, NJ for many years. Mr. Fornicola had been employed as an electrician for the State of New Jersey for 37 years. He was an avid and lifelong sports fan of the New York Yankees and Washington Redskins. In addition, he loved playing Bocce. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Asbury Park, NJ. Mr. Fornicola was predeceased by his loving wife, Cecilia (Chidnese) Fornicola, who died in 2015; and a brother, Donald Fornicola. He was a devoted and loving father to his only son and will be truly missed. Family members include his son and daughter-in-law with whom he made his home, Robert A. Fornicola, Jr. and Francine Fornicola of Milford, NH; two brothers, Theodore Fornicola and Fred Fornicola; a sister, Joan Aldarelli, all of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.
