Richard P. Bobich

Richard P. Bobich, 80, resident of Brookline, NH, died on February 13, 2024, at the St. Joseph Hospital after a period of declining health.

He was born on October 5, 1943, in New York, NY, a son of the late Peter and Jean (Hryn) Bobich.

Richard was raised and educated in New York City and graduated from local high school there. Following graduation, he moved to upstate NY first then New Jersey where he met and married Ruth (Solla). Together they moved to Brookline, NH, in 1982 settling here ever since.

He worked for many years as a facilities manager at Hitchiners here in Milford. When he wasn’t working, he could be found admiring trains, music, the Bruins and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Bobich of Brookline, NH, sons and daughter’s-in-laws, Peter and Lori Bobich of New Boston, NH and Richard and Kristina Bobich of Milford, NH, his daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Cecil Patrick of Farmington, ME, his four grandchildren, Jodi, Peter, Hailey and Alex, great grandson Green, and his sister Julianne of New Jersey.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH 03055. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline, NH. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery the morning of.
