Richard L. Libby

Richard L. “Dick” Libby, 75, died August 19, 2021 after losing his battle with COPD. Dick was born in Hiram, Maine and comes from a very large extended family, most of whom live in Maine. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1970 following four years of service. Dick moved to New Hampshire shortly thereafter. He worked at many jobs including two of his favorites, P.J. Currier Lumber and Hampshire Chemical. Besides his family, his greatest loves were hunting, fishing and camping. His sense of humor was contagious and led most people to describe him as “what a character.” He is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Clarkson) Libby; and son, Rich S. Libby. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
