Richard A. Trow, Sr., 79, resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died on October 13, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness.� He was born in Townsend, MA on June 6, 1929, a son of the late Arthur W. & Gladys (Richardson) Trow.� A lifelong resident of Mont Vernon, he graduated from Milford High School and attended University of New Hampshire.� He was self-employed as a poultry farmer for many years. Prior to his retirement in 1989, he owned and operated Trow Real Estate in Milford for 20 years.� Mr. Trow was an avid hunter, a member of the Pinnacle Mountain Fish & Game Club, NRA and earned the highest ranking in target shooting of Master.� In addition, he enjoyed woodworking, dancing and was a volunteer fire fighter for the Town of Mont Vernon.� He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War.� Family members include his wife of 58 years, Evelyn E. (Kesti) Trow of Mont Vernon, NH; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard A. Trow, Jr. and Judy Trow of Walpole, NH, Dennis & Jo-Ann Trow of Mont Vernon, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Shelly L. & David Solomon of Turks & Caicos Islands; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Davis of Keene, NH and Alma Freidrick of Candia, NH; many nieces and nephews.� Visiting hours are Thursday, October 16th from 6-9 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in the funeral home.� Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mont Vernon, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA� 01701.�
