Regina Rogusky

Regina Rogusky, 80, resident of Amherst, NH for twenty-six years, formally of New Britain, CT, died on January 17, 2024, after a period of declining health.

She was born on February 25, 1943, in New Britain, CT, the only child of the late John and Mary (Ravickas) Darlun.

Regina was raised and educated in New Britain, CT and worked for many years as an art teacher in the New Britain school system. Regina held many volunteer positions over the years including New Britain Museum of American Art Docent, St. Joseph’s PTA President, St. Thomas Aquinas High School Parents Council, and chair of many committees. She and her husband were former Presidents of the Quinnipiac University Parents Council.

When not exhibiting her paintings in Guilford, CT or teaching, she enjoyed reading, gardening, hunting, fishing, crossword puzzles, walking her Yorkshire Terrier Paisley, and spending time with her daughters.

She is predeceased by her husband Richard C. Rogusky. She is survived by her two daughters, Deirdre Rogusky of Amherst, NH, Desiree and Billy Brown of GA and many friends here in NH and CT.

SERVICES: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH. Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM in the St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain, CT.
