Raymond L. Parent

Raymond L. Parent, 85, resident of Seabrook, NH died on July 4, 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. He was born in Nashua, NH on June 25, 1930, a son of Alphonse and Aldea (Grandmaison) Parent. He resided in Seabrook for the past three years where he had summered for over 50 years and formerly made his home in Amherst, NH for many years. Mr. Parent had been employed by Nashua Corporation for more than 20 years. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford. Mr. Parent was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen R. (Pelletier) Parent, who died in 2012. Family members include a daughter, Kristine Boisvert and her husband, Edward of Nashua, NH; three sons, Stephen Parent and his wife, Melinda of TX, Matthew Parent and his partner, David Henderson of CT, and Andrew Parent of San Francisco, CA; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Leatrice Cardin of Seabrook, NH; a niece and three nephews. There are no visiting hours. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 8th at 3:00 pm in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH, followed by military honors. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery, Amherst, NH, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
