Raymond Joseph Sullivan Sr.

Raymond Joseph Sullivan, Sr. was born on June 13, 1933, in Providence, RI and died on December 12, 2023, in Milford, NH. He was a cherished father who peacefully departed at the age of 90, leaving behind a legacy of love and unwavering values. A devoted patriarch, he and his wife raised six children with love and dedication. Celebrating 63 years of marriage, they created a bond that surpassed the test of time.

After graduating La Salle Academy, he joined the Air Force and served four years during the Korean War. Then, he completed 40 years of employment at the New England Telephone and Telegraph company. Throughout his life he consistently exemplified honesty, dependability and generosity. He had a special sense of pride as he supported his children and grandchildren in their attainment of advanced degrees and career achievements. As a devout Catholic, he belonged to the Knights of Columbus and in later years was a daily communicant. He was an avid sports enthusiast closely following his children and grandchildren in all their athletic, artistic, and academic pursuits throughout his life.

Raymond joins his wife Patricia (deceased) and leaves behind his family Julia Calix, Raymond Sullivan, Jr., Kristine Sullivan, Mary Kerutis, Michael Kerutis, Patrick Sullivan, Elizabeth Bonin, John Sullivan, and Rene Sullivan, his grandchildren Brendan Sullivan, Katie Brooks, LJ Brooks, Daniel Sullivan, Elizabeth Shea, Joseph Bonin, Megan Young, Robby Young, Marie Bonin, Serena Calix, Michael Sullivan, Sarah Sullivan, Caroline Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, and Matthew Kerutis.

In mourning Raymond’s passing, we reflect on a life well lived, grateful for the time we shared together. May he rest in peace.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the St. Patrick Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH, 03055. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 2:00 PM in church. Burial will be in the spring next to his beloved wife, Patricia, in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
