Ralph T. Lones

Ralph T. Lones, 78, resident of Milford, NH, died February 23, 2009 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Crestwood in Milford. He was born in Nashua, NH on May 27, 1930, a son of the late Harry & Ruth (Dobens) Lones. He graduated from Alvirne High School, Hudson, NH. Mr. Lones resided in Milford for several years and formerly lived in Amherst for 28 years. He had worked for Sanders Associates in Nashua as a sheet metal technician for many years. Mr. Lones enjoyed camping, fishing and playing horseshoes. In addition, he served in the New Hampshire National Guard. He was a communicant of St. John Neumann Church, Merrimack, NH. Mr. Lones was predeceased by his wife, Cecile (Dupont) Lones, who died in 2007. Family members include three sons, David K. Lones of Medford, MA, Mark R. Lones of Lee, NH and Steve H. Lones of Mont Vernon, NH; three daughters, Pamela A. Roach of Milford, NH, Paula J. McPherson of Litchfield, NH and Michelle L. Steele of Wilton, NH; 11 Grandchildren; his twin brother, Richard Lones of Port Charlotte, FL; a sister, Diana Moquin of Manchester, NH; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, February 26th from 6-9 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua, NH.
