Phyllis M. Coldwell

Phyllis M. Coldwell, 88, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died at her home on April 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 11, 1936, in Roxbury, VT. She lived for 20 years in Litchfield, NH and resided for more than sixty years in Amherst.

Retiring in 1998, she was employed at (Sanders Associates) now called BAE for 21 years.

Phyllis was a member of the Downeaster’s Motorhome Club and the Granite Staters. She married Leslie A. Coldwell and they were together for 52 years till his passing in 2009.

She is survived by her three daughters, Darleen Uhlir of Westmoreland, NH, Lisa Coldwell of Keene, NH, Sheri Coldwell of Salem, NH, a son, Allen Coldwell of Milford, NH, her grandson, Bret Durfee, a granddaughter Angela McGranaghan and a great granddaughter Brooke. Her sister Lorraine Jerry of Hollis, NH, and a brother and his wife, Richard and Diane Jerry of Litchfield, NH and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 AM with burial to conclude in the Meadowview Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
