Phyllis L. Cordts, 83, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother passed away at home peacefully on October 29, 2021 with family around her. She was a resident of Wilton, NH and formerly resided in Lyndeborough and Amherst, NH. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 26, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Lester P. and Lina Beinert. Phyllis was married to the love of her life and soulmate Ronald Cordts for 65 years. She was a dedicated wife, always by her husband’s side. They enjoyed traveling to many places. Phyllis was a stay at home mother to her six children and then worked as a preschool teacher for 15+ years. Phyllis also taught Sunday school; was a Girl Scouts leader and 4H leader. Phyllis was a very kind and loving person who always was there to help her family when ever needed. She loved family more than anything else in life. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up and especially loved going to and watching their sporting events. Phyllis was very active with her close group of friends and relatives. She would have luncheons with her friends and travels to Woodloch Pines in the Pocono’s of Pennsylvania, which was a favorite vacation spot for the family to gather together. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Ronald C. Cordts; her daughter-in-law Robin Cordts; her son-in-law Donald Baker; her sister Janice Kilthau; her sister Christine Frey. She is survived by her six loving children, Veronica Fischer and husband Jeff, Ronald L. Cordts, Deborah Baker, Jeffrey C. Cordts and his wife Deanna, Linda Calo and husband Scott, Laura Potter and her husband Jeff; plus 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law John Cordts and his wife Dorothy, sister-in-law Karen Sarno and sister-in-law Cheryl Cordts. A memorial visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory can be made to American Heart Association.
