Philip R. Johnson, 61, resident of Nashua, NH, died November 12, 2008 as a result of a fire in his home. � He was born in Jamaica Plain, MA on October 18, 1947, a son of Phyllis A. (Maybury) Johnson of Hollis, NH and the late Ronald Johnson.� Mr. Johnson was raised and educated in Belmont, MA.� He graduated from Belmont High School, Class of 1966 and attended Hesser College.� He had been employed by BAE Systems, Nashua, NH for 22 years.� Mr. Johnson was a railroad enthusiast and a member of the Model Railroad Club.� In addition, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle all throughout New England.� He was deeply devoted to his border collie, Casey, who also perished in the fire.� Mr. Johnson faithfully took Casey to the Nashua Dog Run every Sunday.� He was predeceased by his father and a nephew, Robert Pulson. � In addition to his mother, family members include his sister, Nancy J. Pulson of Townshend, VT; a niece, Cynthia Smith of Chesterfield, NH; two great nephews, two great nieces and several cousins.� Memorial visiting hours are Wednesday, November 19th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.� Burial will be in North Yard Cemetery, Milford, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Philip & Caseys memory may be made to the D.O.G. of Nashua c/o Mildred Giles, 35 Monza Road, Nashua, NH� 03064.
