The family of Pauline B. Lawrence, 97, of Londonderry, NH, has announced the death of their beloved Pauline, that passed away at the All-American Memory Unit in Londonderry on April 7, 2023.


Pauline was born in Needham Heights, MA on August 22,1925, the daughter of John & Elsie (Curtis) Buxton. She was raised and educated in Milford NH, having graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1943.


Pauline worked for the F.W. Woolworth Co., International Paperbox and Whitney Screw Co. for many years. She later worked for Newshire Forms for over 25 years until her retirement in 1987. Pauline also volunteered at the Friendship Club in Nashua for many years. She and her husband Charlie spent most of their free time and vacations at their summer cottage in Rye Beach, NH with family and many friends.


She was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles E. Lawrence in 2010. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in November of 2009. Pauline was also predeceased by her parents John and Elsie Buxton, her beloved brother Kenneth and sister-in-law Mary Buxton and brother-in-law Robert Beaudry also her dear sister-in-law Phyllis and brother-in-law Russell Kelly.


Family members include her daughter Lindsay and husband Michael Waleryszak of Dover, NH; son, Charles M. Lawrence and partner Marilyn Stokes of Hudson, NH; sister, Barbara Beaudry formally of Hudson, NH and currently of Hampton, NH; grandchildren; David and wife Stephanie Waleryszak of Rochester, NH, Steven Waleryszak of wife Crystal Jean of Northwood, NH, Adam Lawrence of Nashua, NH; great grandchildren, Andrew and Charlotte Waleryszak of Rochester, NH, Haley and Julieanna Lawrence of Nashua, NH. Pauline also leaves behind her beloved kitty, Mittens. She also had many nieces and nephews and their families—she was lovingly known as Aunt Polly by all of them! Pauline had many friends that loved and respected her as she always thought of them as family.


The family would like to thank the staff and management of the All-American Assisted Living and the Rose Lane Memory Care Unit for all of the personal care and friendship they gave to Pauline as well as the staff and volunteers at Brookhaven Hospice Care for the care they gave to our loved mother during the last year of her life. Pauline will be missed dearly by all her friends and family.


A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 14th at 11:00am in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH, officiated by Pastor Cathy Boss and special thanks to friend Hillary Booth of the Church of the Good Shepard. Flower arrangements are welcomed or a donation to Pauline’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or your local hospice care.
