Paul E. Aubin

Paul E. Aubin, 89, resident of Wilton, NH, died on September 8, 2018 at The Elms Care & Rehabilitation Center, Milford. He was born in Pawtucket, RI on August 3, 1929, a son of Edgar and Beatrice (Benoit) Aubin. Mr. Aubin made his home in Milford for more than 20 years and formerly lived in Nashua, NH for many years. He had been employed as a bus driver for Nashua Transit Services for 22 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. Mr. Aubin was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He entered the Army in 1947 and was honorably discharged in 1961 with the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Harley Sanford Post #4368, VFW and Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23, American Legion. Mr. Aubin was predeceased by his first wife of 50 years, Helen (Norton) Aubin; a brother, Edgar Aubin; and two sisters, Germaine Silva and Leddy Theresa Ploy. Family members include his wife of three years, Nancie Burns of Wilton, NH and her children, James & Jill Burns of Wilton, NH, and Christine Burns of Hollis, ME; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale & Sharon Aubin of Massachusetts and their children, Matthew and his wife Kerry, Jake and his wife Brianna, Seth and his partner Ashley; Michael and Sandy Aubin of Idaho and their children, Lauren and Josiah; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy Griffin of New Jersey and her daughter, Keira and her husband Pete; Michele & Jon Bossie of Milford and their children, Ryan and his partner Alyssa, Taylor and his wife Jessica; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Aubin of CA and Ronald Aubin of GA; many nieces and nephews. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 17th at 11:00am in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the church.
