Paul A. Labrecque Jr.

Paul A. LaBrecque Jr, 81, a resident of Gardner, MA, former longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died on March 22, 2024, after a period of declining health.


He was born on May 27, 1942, in Quincy, MA, a son of the late Paul and Catherine (McNamara) LaBrecque Sr.


Paul was raised and educated in Quincy, Massachusetts, graduated from North Quincy high school as a three sport varsity athlete. He earned a four year scholarship to Suffolk University, and graduated with a business management degree.



He married the late Helen (Oakes) and together made their home in Amherst, New Hampshire until her passing 2013.


Paul enjoyed time fishing in the ocean, going to Patriots games with his kids, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.


He worked for many years as a Marketing Manager for Mobil Oil and Mutual Oil Company.


Survivors include his three children, Christopher and his wife Tracey LaBrecque of Jaffrey, NH, Kevin and Aminda LaBrecque of Southport, ME and Catherine LaBrecque of Pembroke, MA, and seven grandchildren, Nicole, Carly, William, Scott, Jameson, Arianna, Carlina.


SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be in the spring in the Meadowview Cemetery, Amherst, NH.
