Patricia J. Hamel

Patricia J. Hamel, 76, resident of Nashua, NH died on April 13, 2023 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH after a period of declining health.

She was born on December 21, 1946 in Scituate, MA a daughter of the late Harold and Roberta (Harper) Toomey. Pat grew up on her parent’s dairy farm in New Hampshire and graduated from Mount St. Mary’s in Nashua, NH. She has stayed connected with many of her classmates. She had a love for languages, history and polity. She enjoyed art and music immensely and loved singing, dancing and hearing her friends play in their bands. She truly enjoyed entertaining in her home. Her passion and love language was in giving gifts to anyone she could the things she knew they would enjoy. The best part of her life was spent in the company of those she loved, caring for her beautiful flower gardens with her friend Terri Balentine, and working with those who needed her special kind of love as she cared for them in her home.

Survivors include her sisters, Winifred Maki of SC, and Kathleen Yale of NH. Her children, Dana M. Harvey and his wife Jennifer of Manchester, NH, Kevin A. Harvey of Lyndeborough, NH, and Jennifer Borgia and her husband Ken of Florida. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Nick Webster, Padrick Harvey and his wife Stephanie, and Jordenne Harvey of Milford, NH, Taylor and Brianna Harvey of Manchester, NH, and Jacob and Aaron Borgia of Florida. Pat also had three great grandchildren, Padrick (Junior), Ayleigh, and Kohen Harvey of Milford and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

SERVICES: In accordance with her wish’s cremation has taken place and services were held privately.
