Norman L. Racicot

Norman L. Racicot, 84, resident of Milford, NH died on June 11, 2017 at his home. He was born in East Berkshire, VT on March 26, 1933, a son of Azarie and Emelda (Patenaude) Racicot and had made his home in Milford for the past 58 years. Mr. Racicot had been employed as a custodian for Hendrix Wire & Cable Company in Milford for 17 years and Milford High School for 7 years. He enjoyed his walks all throughout the town and spent much of his time reading the Bible and listening to country music. He was a loving father, a devoted grandfather and great grandfather, whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends at the Mill. Mr. Racicot was predeceased by a brother, Hector Racicot; sisters, Rita Flood and MaryJane Laliberte. Family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Richard Garno of Winchendon, MA, Michelle and Albert Demello III of Brookline, NH; two sons, Daniel Racicot of Chile and Michael Racicot of Milford, NH; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Lionel Racicot of Franklin, NH and John Racicot of Milford, NH; many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are on Thursday, June 15th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to McCrea Christian Fellowship, P.O. Box 51, Port Murray, NJ 07865.
