Norman A. Landry, Jr.

Norman A. Landry, 73, of Mont Vernon, died February 25, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Nashua, NH on January 29, 1946, he was the son of Norman and Beatrice (Robbins) Landry. He was educated in the Nashua and Hudson Schools and was a graduate of Alvirne High School, Class of 1964. Norm worked for BAE, the former Sanders Associates for 40 years in facilities. Norm enjoyed working on cars and auto racing. He received many complements on his well manicured lawn and REALLY ENJOYED traveling around the country in RVs, doing the coast to coast trip 20 plus times with his (trusty?) navigator and WONDERFUL WIFE Marjie. PS – He really liked kitties. Give yours a scratch for him. Norm was predeceased by his parents, son Michael Paul (Charlie) Landry and brother-in-law Donald J. Eaton. He is survived by his loving wife Marjie (Eaton) Landry of 51 plus years and sons Matthew Landry and wife Kate of Seattle, WA and Jonathan Landry. Also survived by brothers-in-laws William Eaton and Michael Eaton and wife Elizabeth and sister-in-law Lynn Eaton. “I wish to have NO wake, services, memorials or celebrations of life. Just bring me up to Weare and put me in the ground. Sounds like a class B movie, huh, Marjie?” No flowers. If you want to donate to The Humane Society of Greater Nashua in my name that would be GREAT, thank you. Also, Norm thanks Butch Lachance for his friendship and help over the years and thank you Roger Anctil for all the laughs we have had. The family would like to thank the nurses in the ICU at St. Joseph’s Hospital especially Megan and the 5th floor Palliative Care nurses for their kindness. We also would like to especially thank Dr. Mark Liebling for thirty years of his excellent care and compassion. Burial will be in Johnson Cemetery, Weare, NH in the spring.
