Nicholas William Carbone

Nicholas William Carbone (Nick) passed away January 24, 2020 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire at the age of 34. He was surrounded by those who loved him most as he passed. He is joining his father, Everett Carbone Jr.; cousins, Officer Sean Collier and Thomas Carbone; uncle, Michael Carbone; and his grandparents, Ann and Phil Denbow. Nick is survived by his mother, Susan Forsyth and sister, Heather Marie Carbone. He also leaves behind a large extended family and his best friends, Kellen and Tamara O’Neil. Nick was born January 13, 1986 in Stoneham, Massachusetts to Everett Carbone and Susan Forsyth (Carbone). He was raised in Auburn, New Hampshire and attended Auburn Village School. Nick obtained his GED while he lived and Florida and went on to specialize in intricate tile jobs. He was incredibly intelligent and anyone would know he was an avid reader by his literary themed tattoos. His tattoos included references to John Steinbeck (his favorite), Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, and the Tree of Knowledge. Nick was known for a number of things - primarily his quick wit and ability to get his mother, sister, and friends laughing until they cried. He will also be remembered for his love of music, reading, and comedic shows and movies. He enjoyed disc gold, playing guitar, concerts, candlepin bowling, drawing, and Mustangs. He had a passion for animals, particularly Kellen and Tamara’s dog, Mileena and Heather’s dogs, Dunkin and Dylan. He showed off photos of those dogs like they were his own children. Nick was incredibly close to his father and was like him in so many ways. His love of Mustangs, passion for music, and mooning his friends and family for a laugh. While his family is devastated by Nick’s passing, they take comfort in the fact that he is with his father. Their solace is knowing Nick and his father, Everett, have been reunited and can again make each other laugh. A memorial visiting hour will be held on Saturday, February 1st from 1:00-2:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm.
