Nettie G. Austin

Nettie G. Austin, 84, longtime resident of Brookline, NH, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 17, 1940 in Plaistow, NH, the daughter of Gardner Glover and Edna (Baker) Glover.

Nettie was a longtime employee of Anheuser-Busch Brewery, Merrimack, NH.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and most especially watching her Boston Red Sox.

Nettie was predeceased by her husband John R. Austin, Sr., who died in 2006, and her daughter, Janet Austin, who died in 2017.

Family members include her children; John R. Austin, Jr. of Brookline, NH, Betty J. Chasse and Roger of Nashua, NH, Kevin D. Austin of Weare, NH and Nancy Austin of Francestown, NH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 10:30am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline, NH. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.
