Nancy R. Adams

Nancy R. Adams, 84, resident of Milford, NH, formerly of North Hampton, NH, died peacefully on October 1, 2023, at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.

She was born on June 2, 1939, in Salem, Massachusetts, the daughter of Warren D. Rust and Sarah Virginia (Burpee) Rust. Nancy was raised and educated in Topsfield, MA, having graduated from Topsfield High School, Class of 1957. She married the love of her life, Ronald Stottlemyer on August 17, 1958. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 37 years and remarried years later, taking on the name Nancy Adams.

Nancy loved jigsaw puzzles, knitting, reading, and playing board and card games – her favorite being Skip-Bo. She was a sixty-year member of the White Rock Grange #380, Gorham, ME.

Family members include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia Kirkpatrick and Raymond of Gorham, ME, Linda Berlind and Brian of Brookline, NH; four grandchildren and spouses, Darrin Kirkpatrick and Kelly of Buxton, ME, Kristina Nadeau and Bobby of Buxton, ME, Stephanie Berlind of Voorheesville, NY, Christopher Berlind and Emma Cohen of Yardley, PA; great-grandchildren, Dominic Zanotta of Voorheesville, NY and Hannah Nadeau of Buxton, ME; a brother and sister-in-law, William Rust and Ann of Gorham, ME; several nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her twin brother and sister-in-law, Norman Rust and Betty.

There are no visiting hours. A private burial will take place at a later date.
