Nancy L. Courage, 74, resident of Milford, NH, died on August 9, 2021 at the Lahey Medical Center, Burlington, MA. She was born in Washington, D.C. on June 23, 1947, a daughter of the late William and Mary (Crump) Combs. Nancy was raised and educated in Washington, D.C., and graduated from Oxon Hill High School in Maryland. She married David Courage and together made their home in Milford for many years, later moving to Greenville where they resided until David’s passing in 2017. Nancy enjoyed scrapbooking, shopping and entertaining. She was a wonderful baker and an excellent cook (especially her spaghetti and meatballs!). Above all else Nancy loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband, and her brother, Robert Combs. Family members include her three children, William Courage (Dana Edgarton) of Milford, Christopher Courage (Nathan Barnes) of Manchester, NH and Kelly Clark (Josh Clark) of Milford; her three grandchildren, Colby, Jordan and Emma Clark all of Milford, NH. Visiting hours are on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be at 12:30 PM in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
